AMM Collision Donates Recycled Ride

AMM Collision in Austin, TX and GEICO insurance will donate a 2012 Dodge Caliber to a deserving family on Tues February 24, 2015 at 10am.

GEICO insurance enthusiastically donated the vehicle for repairs. “We are very excited to be afforded this opportunity and to do something for the community,” said Ajay Verma, Auto Damage Field Manager for GEICO.

George Pojas, manager of AMM Collision on Manchaca Rd, took the lead on the project overseeing the repairs from beginning to end. Several technicians at AMM Collision donated their time to restore the car including teams lead by Jose Montealvo, Andre Soudehkeshian, and Jorge Nunez.

Auto parts vendors Keystone Automotive and LKQ Corp generously donated all the new and used parts needed for the repair.

Martha is currently working on her Bachelor Degree in Nursing and sets the bar high for all future guests of Family Promise of Greater New Braunfels.

AMM Collision and GEICO worked with the National Auto Body Council’s (NABC) Recycled Rides program. Recycled Rides, launched in 2007, is a nationwide awareness program where collision repair members of the NABC repair and donate used vehicles to families in need in their communities.
